ISLAMABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Senator Sirajul Haq on Tuesday welcomed
the new Army Chief General Qamar
Javed Bajwa and hoped that the armed forces would continue their policies for
wiping out terrorism, restoring peace
in Karachi and combating the challenges posed by India.
Talking to media outside the Parliament House, he said the entire nation and his party were with
the new leadership of the army. Pakis
tan Army is the most powerful army of the world and nation stands shoulder to shoulder with our valiant troops, he added.
